Deepa Ramakrishnan

As a humble student of tea and tea-medicine, Deepa understands tea as a living path — a doorway to ritual, stillness, embodiment, and prayer. For Deepa, tea is “medicine of the plants, medicine of connection” — a way to sit, breathe, return to our roots, and remember our relationship with the Earth.

In each bowl she pours, she honours ancestral lineages of nourishment, healing, devotion and invites all present to share in that alignment. Deepa also does ayurvedic catering for retreats and co-tends Quiet Earth, whose mission is to bring back the sacred into modern kitchens through ancestral cookware.

FAQs

  • You do not need to have any prior experience in making art or be an artist to benefit from our workshops. In fact, art therapy is specifically designed to be accessible to individuals of all skill levels, regardless of their artistic abilities.

It focuses on the process of creation rather than the final product, placing emphasis on the therapeutic benefits that arise from engaging in the art-making process. Therefore the workshops are inclusive and suitable for creatives and those who have never picked up a paintbrush before.

  • All materials will be provided.
